I see it’s back on tap for this weekend according to the email run schedule. I think I will bring the motorhome for this event. Although the last one was ran alittle better . 94 degrees could make it interesting

Maybe bonne terre on Sunday will be a better use of time. 94 degrees is to hot to jack around with another race

Yes it’s on gateways website. Two 32 car races again. These cars and drivers will have their tongues hanging out making two passes per round in 95 degree weather

I heard they are real slow and take lunch Most Bonne terre weekends they start at noon and end from 6-9 I heard they won’t let you pull into the water until the pair in front has made the turnoff ? And a 1 hour lunch break? Someone told me that it took till 11pm to run a 23 car superpro field last year? He got third and said he won’t return. I have no clue if any of this is true.

Yeah they run a slow show but usually the car count is small. I'm sure some of their bigger races take longer.

The wind helped. Track was greasy but to be expected. Congrats to Tim Foley for the first win in his new car

Was it a full field of cars?? I can only imagine the torture of sitting in the staging lane with helmet and gloves on in that heat. What is worse, a door car or a dragster?

Door car. Especially the ones without roll down Windows. The fumes is what I always hated in door cars.

I think there were 26 cars that showed up. The no box nationals and the heat kept them away. Running the mopar classes and sportsman for me was difficult because of the temps. The truck was fine and still ran the number. Made passes 10-14 minutes apart at times and ran .010 apart. I don't like hot temps.
