I agree on the timeslip thing. I was in both classes kinda deep and the new timeslip person was so slow at getting my slip I shut the car off . And one time I got the wrong slip. I think that job should be givin to a veteran employee or someone who can reed numbers fast. It was very annoying Saturday . The girl two weeks ago was great.

I just can't stand where it is located. If you are not parked at the front end of the pits you have a lot more driving to do and time! Most of the time I have someone to get my slips for me, so I can go directly back to my trailer, but when I don't it sucks if running more than one class. I would rank the timeslip booth at the top of my list on things I would love changed, even over the P.A. system. With that said I'm sure I can find a couple things I don't like at the other tracks around too!

The time slip booth works ok for me. IF only they wouldn't park a damn pickup truck creating a blind spot.

I still see race cars cutting through parking spaces between other trailers and race cars after leaving the et shack . I had 2 little kids on 2 wheel skate boards flying down from only hill the oval hill not looking just having fun but not watching . Hopefully the weather will move away for Sat .

That may happen The drag racing world is set on 1/4 mile that's the standard Even NHRA fall to 1/8. Yes it went to 1000 ft ! Only because of the speeds and saftey Once you lose your 1/4 track it never comes back , GMP was the only track left within 300 miles It was never about the quarter mile as to why racers stayed away it's the same issues you see today lack of communication lack of pay (for some) lack of any information , the changing of rules at will , it's left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing and no one in charge of nothing Here we are year #5 and it has only gotten worse a few say we have an owner who is a racer and understands us racers lol. Really. Not from the sound of some of you guys Whether it's 1/8 or 1/4 the same issues abound Now we have a great facility built for 1/4 racing a great heritage of racers a grand opertunity to seperate it self from all the rest decided at last minute to go 1/8 only Oo well it's here 1/4 mile is gone Joliet Memphis Indy Mokan might be 1000 ? All within 275 miles and are qtr mile tracks Gmp qtr mile just doesn't fit into your schedule . Weds friday and sat and special events run qtr also .

Joliet is over 325 from my house Memphis well over 340 Indy is in the 250 mile range but is 1/8 mile I have no issue racing 1/8 mile you can race it anywhere ! That was the deal you could come to Gateway race it there to ! I could slow my car down run in sportsman,, but lm sure given that , next year or sooner it will all be 1/8 as well . He'll maybe next year we can petition GMP to take Suoer Pro down to just a 330 run be easy on you guys then won't get so scared Shoot if you guys get what you want just stage two cars leave off buttons get out of the cars let next pair of drivers get in it Be like video game race then !! Lol Just think how easy that be on parts tires fuel !! Lol If wanted door cars just stage. Couple door cars hit button get out Lol

Then we wouldn't need new belts , license , that annoying loud noise from non mufflered cars , could race in the rain, ect! You are on to something I think.

When there is a rainout we should still button race for points! That way I wouldn't have to change converters after the first time run.

It's not the converter. It's not the car. Afraid it's the Operator Valve.
