This may seem like a dumb question but if you run for points do you have to have the same driver for all the points races? Or do the points go with the car / owner?

points go with the driver. They could switch cars every race if they wanted.

Thanks I thought as much but wasn't sure. My son and driver is a carpenter foreman for CCS and with the work load this year is and will be working Saturdays to keep up.

Jim that was along time ago also and Allen won superpro and pro two years in a row . I can safely say that will NEVER happen again. Pro and a sportsman title in the same year yes maybe. But not top and bottom bulb in the same year twice. Jeremy did come kinda close tho last year now that I think about it . So maybe never say never I guess If Sp is on the 1/8th I think my chances are better. Still a very long shot but better. 2 years in a row. I would say nearly impossible. Half way there. I knew super pro on 1/8th would increase my chances.

I think Allen mollet also did it with two different cars . But that's not really important.
