Forgive me Senior for I have misjudged our racing facility! Damn, wonder why they decided to cut the payout for pro again! Don't understand this at all! LOL. I thought maybe you had a crystal ball.

We haven't raced there all month you would think they would step it up! instead of cutting it up. Very hard to read them.

I really don't understand it at all. Heck I would rather win 850 and a plaque, than win 600 and the wally! Well, look at it this way Senior, we should have plenty of time to drink some beer Saturday seems it will be done quickly. I have no issues with the no buybacks, just not a fan of the payout.

Be careful what you say on social media. H. ACTIONS DETRIMENTAL TO THE SPORT 1. Please refer to the NHRA rulebook regarding actions that are detrimental to the sport. In the past, the NHRA and it’s member tracks have issued fines and suspensions for comments made regarding the sanctioning body and host facilities. Please be advised that the use of message boards and social media to post detrimental comments regarding Gateway Motorsports Park or it’s officials will result in a loss of competition privileges. The racing community is one that needs to work together in this age of legal and environmental issues in an effort to support the sport. Areas across the country are seeing their race tracks taken away from them for a variety of reasons and we should welcome the opportunity to compete at a National Event caliber facility on a regular basis. With that in mind, if you have an issue, please schedule an appointment with the facility management before you air your comments to the world. 2. Gateway Motorsports Park reserves the right to refuse service to anyone viewed as detrimental to the sport of drag racing. Please keep this in mind before posting something that you can’t take back. You got people who don’t like running 1/8 mile, don’t like that the payout has been reduced, don’t like the no buy backs all for the same entry fee but how many will still attend? As long as you support them, nothing is going to change because they know you will still be there. If you want to make a big statement, don’t attend.

I would normally agree with this, but I don't think its the case with Gateway. I find it hard to believe that they will change all of those things for the better if we all decide not to attend. It's pretty obvious that car counts are really not a concern to them, it means more to us the racers. I am not really up for racing all weekend or I would go attend the event at Harrisburg. Also Kevin Corzine has put a lot of time and effort into all of things he is doing Saturday at the track for the benefit for his sister, so I am going to go support that.

Clay, I agree. I want to support the fundraiser for Kevin's sister and hopefully everyone else will to. What greater reason to race but to help a friend. See everyone Saturday

We plan to bring the Firebird for the LT1 deal and the Mustang for the bracket race. Sounds like fun. Maybe the kid will win some more $$$!
