Hey don after 8 yr lay off from track I thought we did good as tech crew under the circumstances. After losing 2 people we kind of got things sorted out for most part. Sorry I didn't meet ur expectations but u may have whole new crew to break in next year. Will it b different dont know can it yes. Wait and c I guess Wether right or wrong Ricky for good or bad rules weren't written . Heard they will be posted Nov20 . Ps All the crew did a great job and are very polite to us and Includes Mary ,George ,Louis on down . You did the best rick .

I have heard the same rumblings that Jason has about more races, no drops, and no rescheduled ones. Nothing Gateway has done has anything to do with my decision to not run points. I will probably be at most races, but I looking forward to not committing myself next year. If I want to race there I can, but if I want to go to a good paying race somewhere and can afford to do that I would like to have that option. Like I said my decision is more on being burned out on locking myself to the track than anything they have done and I will probably still be at most of there races depending on the schedules of the races I plan to attend next year. I am really looking forward to going up to Byron for a couple of their races next year and they always seem to fall on the same days as Gateway. That's my feelings also Clay.....I am in no way protesting or complaining. I am just looking for that atmosphere that surrounds the bigger races.....you can't win them all , so at least have a good time type of thing

If the schedule looks like it may work I'll sign up for points. If then I have to miss a race or two for other races than I will. However I don't want to lock myself out by not signing up.

Yeah signing up for points wasn't such a smart idea for us this year. Missed too many races that were scheduled during family get away time (not missing that). I'll definitely look closer at the schedule this up coming year before I lay down the cash again.

I believe his point is that since I get in free next year that if I don't come to a race I will be giving away money. Lol Considering it was a gift to you whether you use or not. Not losing money other than tow gas Yeah you might say you earned it. I guess But far from losing money

Not losing money other than tow gas Yeah you might say you earned it. I guess But far from losing money I don't think it was a gift. I believe all the racers entry fee in the points program would be used to defer the lost revenue Gateway will experience from allowing me to race for free. If I didn't earn it, why did I receive it and not someone else? If I don't attend I would not lose money out of my pocket but wouldn't I be losing out on any potential money I may win that day?

Do you not know what his racing-record is for wins, etc? I get lucky sometimes. I have heard other racers say "he is so lucky."
