I won't be there due to the no electronics rule. My 1932 Bantam is too modern for a nostalgia race.

So is there even a no electronics class any of us can run in if we went? I know my dad wants me to take the car and run it this weekend, but I haven't seen a class I could run in yet.

Oh boy. No transbrake in any class? That can't be right? That throws out about 75% of the local bracket cars and a big chunk of any others who would drag their stuff out for this.

I can handle the no transbrake as long as I can use it to back up, but what car doesn't have aftermarket wheels on it. I would say the wheels will eliminate 90% if the above rules that Angelo posted is the only bracket class.

I thought there was a 'bracket race'. But, I seem to remember that you had to be 55 or older to run in it. I will try to look again and find the information.

I have looked everywhere and have not seen anything about the bracket class rules or payout. Would love to see them though.

So how many of these period cars will pass NHRA tech? Oh well. It sounded like an interesting event. Looks like too many nutty rules to be fun. I don't understand the 55 and older thing at all. I understand if they want 55 and older vehicles, but 55 and older people? WTH is that?

So there are the NDRL classes and at least one no electronics bracket race. I assume that no one has heard entry fee or payout yet.
