I was going to enter both my Hondas in the pit bike race but they changed the rules, NO Quads. Pretty good turnout though.

I was going to enter both my Hondas in the pit bike race but they changed the rules, NO Quads. Pretty good turnout though. It was a fun event Friday nite . But as usual the rules got changed the interpretation of what pit bike and a golf cart got changed . Many around the track use 4 wheelers as pit vehicles they werent allowed in either class . Then a Go Kart from the GMP kart racing stable was brought in and competed with the golf carts and a golf cart with 3 wheeler motor frame allowed in golf cart class . ITS Bracket racing so let anything go into either class that fits its motor syle . UTV ATV should be allowed . Thanks GMP for the Free food beer after the races it was nice for all to hang out rest of the nite .

Can someone clarify how the payout got to be $7000 in Box and $3500 in No Box. I'm not complaining any on that part .But it showed to take 100 entries in 1st round . I'm not happy as many others are that no colors were used and and double entrys went back around and group all together . Would have made more since and have a little room for cool down and organized to do no box ,box,no box ,box since only double entry allowed in each class . I hope by the turnout that they could go into a 2 or 3 day event again next year .

I heard there was 99 and 97 entries. I'm glad to see they paid the higher pay tier

According to the flyer, 100 + entries paid #3750. How many rounds to the final? Jeremy?

I think the one that is advertised should stand. The flyer at the gate didn't entice people to come. Besides if gate was final say they could advertise 20k to win then hand out flyer after you pay that says 5k to win.

I was happy to see the no box cars show up. This was the first big bucks race I can ever recall no box cars showing up for and thought that was great to see. I knew the super pro would get close to 100. They needed to have it split up into colors and it would have made the race go smoother after the 1st couple rounds instead of waiting for cars to come back up and would have been less confusion. The no box class got kinda screwed over by this confusion in the 4th round when a racer (that was not a regular bracket racer) thought he was still in a 2nd time, which he wasn't went back to the staging lanes for pro in the middle of the super pro round and they had already let Dan Smith make his bye run pass long before. They put him back into the 5th round without ever going down the track in the 4th round, which of course took the car count in the 5th round to 17 cars. Simple math shows that it not only cost the racers that lost that round money, but also added a round to the race. On a good note it was great to see them bump the payout and congrats to Tignor and Jeremy both on your wins!

I know Ron. I also know that they didn't do it just to do it and make their payout work in their favor, which it did that too. I just used that as to an example that the way they ran the event was too confusing on everyone involved, especially Bob and Jen trying to run the staging lanes. I thought for the bad situation they were put in, that they did the best job they could.
