Mike Thanks we are on Alky for about 9 years . Scott with new plugs and maybe fuel delivery is right now we can see where the plugs color are at . Hope the spotty sprinkles get out of here .

I am just now reading this, but 3 years ago when I put the corvair back together it would not run worth a crap. It was running 6.10's and had a good pop in it in the higher rpm's. Everytime I have had issues like this Ken Jones has been the best help a guy could ask for. He ran through a series of questions and by the time we were done he told me that he truly believed the problem was to cold of a plug. Well I had the same heat range plug my dad ran in the motor for years in it, which I believe was a NGK 8 heat range. I had a hard time believing that it could be that simple, so I made the change and drove to Benton where if it wasn't the problem, Ken could try to help and low and behold the car ran 6 consecutive 5.86's. So the moral of the story is, Don don't think that it couldn't be something that simple.

Racers are like family they crab ,cry and help all in the name of racing . Well we got to track mad thrash to get install NGK R5672A-8 it was the parts stored order I thought the Ar3911 were coming but believe they are hotter . Get the Pro systems carb, spacer and linkage changed . Changed oil P.S . cleanup in isle 3 pit spot 307 .lol Test drove ok we are ready Got into staging lanes ready Helmet gear etc on ready? ? Bob says hey rearend looks shifted WTF crap broke cracked left ladder bar crossmember .Bring trailer up to staging lanes loaded up . Now this racing is getting to be a P.I.A. To race at the nitro next week will be challenge . On a good note Friends are willing to help to fix it and for a really early Birthday present by my good buddy and his girlfriend and their dogs I was given a New MSD billet Dist .Brought a tear to my eye I am humbled by the generosity ,but not surprised .

Bob Brooks saw it Bob Gibson and Bob Fink were partying for their B.Ds . Thanks to Jenny for the dollies we tried to use them but didn't feel safe moving that far .

Saw you getting pushed back from about 100' down track. 14 passes on a brand new BTE converter broke the sprag. The best part is they said I should have got a sprag less. I said I had a sprag coan for 12 years. Should have kept it:(. Looks like I'm borrowing a converter for next week while this one gets fixed and charged for update.

BTE happened to be cheap or it was. I have been Spragless since 99 when I kept rolling them over in my first Dragster. Put in a Trans Specialties and ran it for years. Once I went to the Big Block my SB converter was a little to loose so we went to an Abruzzi converter and ran that for a few races. Ended up putting a TPI (Trans Parts in Ferguson) in it picked up .06 in the 60 and almost 6 MPH on the top end. It's a Spragless and has a Billet cover and works its A$$ off. Going to buy another just like it here soon. If you need a Trans Specialties I have one laying around if you get in a pinch.

With car broke and then Truck Broke leaving to go out of town .Fishing ,sipping beers ,and Margs was the best plan to keep going . I got home took car out to Cottleville cut out Ladder bar cross member, gussets .The crack became a tear around tube .So we will see what Jerry Bickles has in stock get bar,brackets,gussets and see if a mad thrash by the hold my beer racing group will be done by Friday and mow 60 plus properties by Friday . Sorry Kevin to hear your troubles with trans .
