What TV station is that being advertised on? Haven't seen not one poster or flier on the event. If they expect a big crowd and a successful event they need to use something other than the track website and facebook to advertise it.

The video is a little misleading to the public because it shows clips from the nostalgia show last year with Top Fuel and Funny Cars and word has it they didn't book any in.... some call it" bait and switch"... the spectators may be a little disappointed.

no fuel cars? so basically its just a pre 73 drag race not a nostalgia "show". that sucks! Will there be any exhibition cars at all?

The Nostalgia Quick Series will be there with several cars who have run 4.50s on the 1/8 mile. It is a 4.99 and faster class. The NQSA will also run a 5.10-5.99 class.
If it's nostalgia you're looking for be sure and checkout this race.
I like the nitro cars as much as anyone but except for smoke and fire, last year was less than spectacular for the paid show.

Give me a break....Your the only one to complain George about last years nostalgia event, As far as most people say it was one of the best Nostalgia events the track has ever had... Oh but I forgot you guys didn't win it so you gotta bad mouth it. Same $15.00 addmission price as last year but no nitro T/F cars, no Funny Cars etc... Also Lonnie they made it 75 and older, Nostalgia events are supposed to be 72 and older. The 72 and older rule comes with 1972 being the last year as the small (normal) bumper car and the last of the real muscle cars, In 1973 the Government made the manufactures put ugly crash bumpers on cars and also cracked down with emissions and hi performance motors in passenger cars.

Im not trying to start a argument just an opinion. With the younger generation of people (16 to say 26) being born from 1986 to 1996 might consider anything older than 1990 nostalgia.I realize the older racers remember the days of true muscle cars but not all people have to just see 50 year old cars.Dont get me wrong they are cool but my point is a 16 year old kid might think a 1980 malibu , mustang , or camaro is Nostalgia and just as interesting because it was before their time.I guess what im trying to say is maybe it's not such a bad idea to raise the year to allow some cars in that the younger generation can relate with. Jimmie Barrett I agree completely. Not to mention the older cars are getting harder to find. Some people can turn any thread into a complaint of some sort. I just thought the video was cool and other tracks should pay attention to advertising like that.
