That's why there are nostalgia events to make it ALL older cars. Thats also why the spectator attendance at these events are so much greater. If you allow newer that 72 then you just defeted the purpose of the event, you might as well just have a regular bracket race.
Also the biggest part of the spectators at a nostalgia event are older and mid generation.
As far as the HAMB Drags go or the Melt Down Drags at Byron, They only allow PERIOD CORRECT cars from the early era.... It can be a newer build but must be 100% period correct in looks.... If you bend the rules to allow a newer car that don't fit in, you defete that purpose too. Their both great events and well worth the price of addmission.
