I havent raced there yet. July 24th was open on my calender, but not anymore. july 3rd & 4th Eddyville july 10th Gateway july 17th Mo-Kan july 24th Coles County july 31st Gateway
I still have 7 open saturdays between april 3rd and october 30th to be able to race every saturday this season! I"ll race several sundays also. Midstate hasnt posted their 2010 schedule yet. I'm sure I'll go there a few times.
I'm assuming I'm racing Marks bike in points at Gateway again, and I'm going to race my bike in points at Kansas City. K.C. is having 12 points races this year, and I can make it to 8 of them. 4 of their races are on Gateway nights. I've never seen a dragbike at K.C. they always have about 8 or 10 fast stretched streetbikes and they aint really that good, so I think I have chance. At least it will be fun trying ;D

After reading Coles County schedule a few times, I dont think it pays $1000 for bikes. Heres what it says. JULY EXTRAVAGANZA-$2000 WIN S/P-$1000 WIN PRO-Bikes.
I think that means $2000 for S/P, $1000 for PRO, and also running bikes. Maybe I'm wrong. The regular bike payout is $200 to win, maybe they will up that a little. I'm still going on July 24th no matter what the payout is.

It should read like most tracks do: $2000 S/P $1000 Pro Bikes-Please don't show up. You ruin our program. We would rather race Jr's at each other and watch the carnage than race bikes here.

I copied the info from Midstate's site. A bike racer had it on there. I just emailed Ron at CCD. I'll let you know what he says.

Here's the message from Ron Veach at Coles County:
you read it correctly....it is $2000 S/P, $1000 Pro-Bikes -bikes means that they are running that night....if you look at our schedule, we always have ET then dash to show what other classes are running that night...(Jr's, Bikes, etc...)i haven't addressed it on midstate's board yet because we are working on a sponsor for it, and therefore we might just make it that.... if i can get someone to pony up half of the grand we will run it that way....thanks for asking ron
