The racers at Coles County are trying to get enough donations to at least pay to resurface the first 330 feet of the track.
their facebook page has an article from the newspaper, and who to contact. if not enough money is raised for the project, donations will be refunded.
sounds like a good cause to me.

This is a great little track. They had us match race there last year. They really need to resurface the track. A little wider would be nice too. Great people there.

Well we went to CCD USA to race with Rod and crew. Hats of to them my dial in was the same as the last outing at gateway last year. 5.34@131 MPH and we repeated except when my fuel pump took a crap. Obviously not the race tracks fault. The new surface works great. We will defiantly be back. And you are thanked by all even other racers for coming

what was the problem with the roll out? For many years their rollout has always been 30-40 slower than any track under the sun. Its not an issue in super pro seems you can change the box, but on the bottom, changing that much is quite the task.

I changed ride height, switched to 4.10 gears instead of 4.29 and the car ran exactly the same dial in as last outing at gateway and I had to add .010 in the box.

Reaction time has always been the issue there. I know Rob Fisher has a complete different spot on the tree there compared to everywhere else, but he is used to it being his home track.

Reaction time has always been the issue there. I know Rob Fisher has a complete different spot on the tree there compared to everywhere else, but he is used to it being his home track. The rollout is still long. I have to make my adjustable button almost full of spacers and the stiffest spring to get a decent light. Its not really a problem to adjust if you know its coming. Everyone there has to deal with it. Of course it's easier if you're there every week.
