Question , when was the last time you seen a race of this level oreven the Jegs summer door car challenge at Gateway ? No doubt he has show there 250 is his cap on the door car and it a closed group It appears this one is as well. With a cap of 150 entries haven't seen if it a double entry list as is the door car so your looking at a possible 80-100 car field of double the entires happens Small track has to have a limit great for those that get in no doubt !!

Question , when was the last time you seen a race of this level oreven the Jegs summer door car challenge at Gateway ? I don't think you will. A big operation like Gateway, I would think, is going to require a very large slice of the pie and/or guarantee commitment from the promoter. Smaller operation like I-57 has less hands out wanting their fair share ;-) Maybe I'm wrong. BTW I wish Scott and I-57 a very bright future.

The only problem Gateway has with a races like these is they have no credibility with the kind of racers that race these kind of races , and 0 promotional capability . As I have said in the past ownership / management of Gateway should contact Luke Bogaki about promoting/partnering a race like these At gateway , I believe the car caps at Benton have been about not having room for larger car counts . Bigger facility - bigger car count - bigger profit . The way ownership / management at I-57 treat the racers is a big part of the success they do have , just my opinion

Dennis you have no idea if there are any double entries at this event yet seems the information is not out yet. Why don't you wait until it's released. I agree with you on doing away with double entries though. Gateway has been approached many times over the last 10-15 years by promoters wanting to have an event at Gateway and I don't know all the details, but have been told that it is just to financially difficult to have an event there

Oh well. Good for Benton.

I think it is safe to say they are not interested!
