I'll probably go. I think it will be packed. I race to win not for the money. Plus it will be a cheap day of fun.

A 40 degree day full of oil downs on a Sunday when it's dark at 5pm racing for practice is just not where I'm at in my life now. Lol Let's break this down. 1. I will have fun as that is why I go racing. 2. 40 degree day: I see high of 55 and Sunny with 80+% of the racing done before sundown. Even if it were 40 degree I will still go. 3. As for oil downs they have been minimal every trip I have been there. 4. Dark at 5pm. It will be dark slightly after that however I'm not concerned with this as the track has lights as well as my car. Also I think due to Halloween the vampires will not be out as they will still be recovering. 5. As far as practice, if you hare happy with your skill set that is great. I am not content with mine. I feel I can be a better racer and more laps will make that happen. However that is just a byproduct of why I go. The main reason is fun. 6. Where I am in my life is to live it and have fun not to make up excuses to why I'm not going racing. Dude, you didn't race for $2500 5 minutes from your house. You weren't coming here even if they had normal payouts. You have to realize that this place has a different clientele. There are a lot of people that just want to race for cheap and don't care what the payouts are.

There are a lot of people that just want to race for cheap and don't care what the payouts are. I am perfectly happy with my skills in the mustang dude . I think you should know that first hand. As far as running the Sunday mega bucks I would have if my 3 year old wasn't sick that morning . Plus I did run it the night before and did better than any no box racer has ever done on the box side. And I was fully ready to do battle on Sunday at bonne terre . That is pretty bold of you saying that I had no intention on running there. When have I ever came on here and lied about my racing intentions? So I'm calling your bluff on the I only race for fun thing also . The free tech card thing should bring out every piece of junk in a 40 mile radius so I'm sure the down time will be plentiful .

What other reason is there? Money? I hate to tell you that you a lifetime money loser when it comes to racing just like I am and every other person on here. As far as your "mustang skills", I never said they were bad. I said you were content with them which by the above statements it sounds as you are. If so great. I don't go to work on my "mustang skills" I go to work on racing and have fun. I see a direct correlation with racing any car to my overall racing skills. I do stand corrected I went and reread where you said you might go this year. I remembered incorrectly that you said you would go. Free tech card, what's to complain about at least then no one will have to sneak their way in.

Yes I am like you and everyone else I will never come close to breaking even as far as money is concerned . But I like most people like the illusion that I can recupe my money from a posted payout. I have no doubt you have fun racing like most people. But if every track in the country had free entry and never paid a dime . I would quit racing! Imo nothing good can come of running a " trophy " race . If I win well I should have won. No excitement like wining a money race. If I lose I feel like a complete idiot.
