I think it was Mark Twain that said the definition of golf is a good walk ruined.

I enjoy golfing and something like this would be a lot of fun, not sure when to squeeze it in.

You should listen to Bill Cosby's take on golf.

You should listen to Bill Cosby's take on golf. ha ha ha I had a feeling golf wasn't going to fly with this crowd....It's a lot slower pace than racing. Golf however is fundamentally all about executing a repeatable process I hit thousands of balls when I was a kid.... and hated it. But I'll tell you, its pretty cool when you hit a great shot, watching the ball float in the air, draw back slightly to the left, land on the green and roll backwards and stop a few feet from the flag. ... Oh course there's usually no one around to see those great shots... and it sucks to knock two in a row in a lake or take two swings to get out of a sand trap. I'll go on my own.

I try to play a few times a year. Get so frustrated some times I throw the club farther than I just hit the ball.

Do I have to use a club. I prefer to his golf balls with aluminum baseball bats. They fly really good that way

I play a couple times a week, since I sold the race car. Playing golf is a lot like driving a race car. The more you play the better you get. I remember when I started racing again after a 20 year lay off, couldn't cut a light. I don't really miss racing like I thought I would, saved a lot of money this year. You guys still racing, have fun and good luck.

You guys still racing, have fun and good luck. You need to get back into the racing fold. Bonne Terre Drag strip is like less than 2 miles from LeadBelt Golf Course. I'm gonna load up the car and clubs tomorrow morning, play nine holes at 10:30am then go over and race at Bonne Terre. It will be a full day of fun.....or aaaaa frustration. But either way it beats being at work. There's a couple of nice courses over by Benton.

a really bad day at golf, all the balls in the sand trap or water hazzard, or a bad day at the track, either all red lights or asleep at the tree beats even the best day at work.

The only things I have left is a 383 engine, pair of front coil overs and a set of 15x12 rear pro star wheels. Had to almost give stuff away. I do regret selling my motor home though, I could have used it to go south to play some golf this winter.
