Hello friends. We have an opening for a technician. Won't lie. This is probably the hardest tech job you would ever have. We get the privelege of diagnosing and repairing some of the most goofed up stuff you could ever imagine. There are no wallet flushes here. Just lots of satisfying work if you enjoy a challenge. If you want $50/hr to eat donuts and hook up a wallet flusher this ain't for you. We diagnose cars. We fix cars. We upgrade cars. We buy and sell cars.
Family owned, no flat rate, no comission, no bs, no weekends or evenings.
Paid vacation, holidays, regular reviews and raises. We offer Aflac. Currently everybody does their own thing on insurance. Every year we explore group benefits but we just don't have enough people to get a deal on anything that everybody likes.
Compensation negotiable based on experience and skill level.
Call 636-282-5700 to set up an interview.

All of it is necessary at some point. Even Gm now recommends brake fluid exchange

Jason the problem is this. Those services are heavily commissioned from the service manager to the parts manager to the service advisor and finally the tech. it's a big fat gravy train that unfortunately, often times, gets taken advantage of at the customers expense. What could be a good useful service in some cases gets over sold. And forced upon customers in some cases in lieu of proper diagnostics. Perfect example. Have a customer with a later model vehicle exhibiting a transmission concern. This should clearly be a warrantable repair. Instead of diagnosing, and repairing the real problem the dealership is requiring the customer to perform a trans flush 1st (at customers expense). Then, if it still acts up they'll look into it further. Keep in mind, this vehicle is under warranty.
Another favorite of mine is the poor customer who comes in with a problem. Something that really needs diagnosed and fixed. During the write up process, the service advisor sells a laundry list of fluids, etc (the wallet flush). These guys are very convincing in the urgency of getting this stuff done. Then the tech and the service advisor both not wanting to lose the comission or easy flat rate on the wallet flush will do all the fluids first. Then when they diagnose the problem the customer came in for there is no money left for poor mr customer to fix the car. This sounds terrible. But this stuff happens all the time.
Dealers are not the only guilty parties in this type of mindset. Pretty much any place that pays flat rate, commissions, bonuses, etc. Watch your wallet folks.
The system is broken and needs repair. We don't operate that way here.
