Is there a bracket program or TnT on July 27th? There is nothing mentioned on the website, but I cant imagine that the pro shootout would draw enough cars to carry an entire day.

I'm pretty sure they announced last weekend that there was not one. I'd call Jeff directly.

Very bad idea to not have a bracket program in conjunction with a special show like this, I can't imagine there will be so many Pro Mod cars there that there won't be time to run anything else. Them guys make a run and they require about an hour between runs.
An Oldsmobile race?... I can see an all GM day or something like that but just one make?
Oh well.... We got a good Bracket Race going on Saturday at Gateway, supposed to be 80 and sunny

First off I'm not being negative..... $20,000.00 purse for a Pro Show Ok we all know the owner can afford the $20,000.00 to put up, Question is, Why would they pay it out to exhibition cars that pay no entry fee? And how many Pro Cars are they expecting? Some of the St. Louis area Pro Mod car owners say they haven't heard about this event.
I understand the part about having a special show to make money but they have to count on spectator attendance to pay this money back, By the time they pay the track expenses, employees and the 20K purse, they'll need to have close to 3000 spectators just to break even. I personally haven't heard any advertising about this event or seen any posters.
In my opinion, They should of posted a $20,000.00 purse for Bracket Cars (their real customers) With this nice cool weekend they would pack the place with racers from all over the area, ALL paying an entry fee to race for the big money. If they wanted a couple of Pro Mods during a big bracket program to match race for an additional spectator draw it would only cost $500.00 a run each.

I agree with Bob on this one!! Not that I am not going to watch, cause it will be a great show if the attendance is good, but can 1 imagine what the car count would be if they would offer that kind of money to the bracket racers. The car count at Byron on their $10,000 big bucks deal is huge. If they had their turnout there would be nowhere to park, and think of the revenue!!!

Won't be very many bracket racers in attendance, they'll be racing someplace else. Big mistake in my opinion. I think they had been having a pretty good car count too.

Won't be very many bracket racers in attendance, they'll be racing someplace else. Big mistake in my opinion. I think they had been having a pretty good car count too. The way I see it there won't be ANY Bracket Cars, It's a Pro Show only... Lets say, If 50 Pro cars show up, it won't take long to run them off then a lot of down time waiting for them to get ready for the next run. It's also not planned to be an elimination, it's "Chicago Style" Everyone qualifys then the two fastest come back for a final, then the two winners in the two categories face off. I may be wrong but I think their making a major mistake by not having a Bracket Race with atleast S/Pro and Pro. After posting 20K to the Pro Show, I'd be disappointed if they cut the payout next week when the S/Pro or Pro car count is short a few cars?
