putting the car up for the rest of the season,whats the best way to winterize a alky fuel system,just drain the fuel out and run gas through it,after every race i would drain the float bowls and fill with gas

I mix gas with Marvel Mystery Oil. Drain the fuel system of the alcohol and run the car with the gas mixture. I also pour some of it down the carb and crank the motor over to lube the cylinders. Been doing the same thing since 1989 and it's always an easy start up the next year.

yea i was going to drain the alky and run gas through it,drain and fill the carb with gas,and run it,kinda thought thats how most racers would do it,thought ill see how most of you did it

We drive them in to the garage and shut them off. Next year start them. Once in a while we will have a sticky needle but not very often.

fill mine with wd-40 but its olny down from turkey day to mid feb early march
