Savannah and I took our season ending ride on the old Honda cb900 on Turkey day. We took one of our 89/100 laps..we go out hwy 89 to Linn, then back home on hwy 100, about 45 miles. We actually got the bike out again on saturday, but after seeing a small patch of cords showing through the rear tire, I decided to put it back in the garage for the winter. I knew the tire was getting slick, but I dont ride when the cords are showing!
odometer reads 41,176 thats over 7,600 miles ridden since I got it in may...dont remember the mileage when I put the new tires on, I'm guessing I got 5500 to 6000 miles out of them (the front tire is still decent) that might not sound like a lot, but 15 years ago when I was tearing up the roads on a sport bike, I'd get about 1500 miles out of a set of tires ;D

Not much of a winter yet not complaining, just sayin... I ordered 2 new tires for the old cruiser. I bought a set of Shinko's that are made for high mileage. I figured since I run Shinko's on the Hotrod bike and really like them, I might as well try a set on the cruiser. Next couple of weekends I'll put the new tires on and give it a good clean up.....well, put the tires on anyway ;D
