Over 1/2 way to the end of the round. This question was submitted by bobby. So he gets 2pts. I'm considering it 1 question, 1 point for each half. 2pts total.
How fast and by whom was the 1/4 mile TFH drag boat record set (fastest MPH) by (SDBA)?

I don't remember if I asked in an open cockpit boat. I can't seem to find my outbox. You might have the right answer, but I was looking for an open cockpit boat. That would have been a long time ago.

I pm'd you your original question. If vegabomb is correct with his answer he'll get 2pts. You can rephrase the question and let somebody else have a shot at it.

How fast and by whom was the 1/4 mile TFH drag boat record set (fastest MPH) by (SDBA) in an open cockpit (no Capsule) boat? Sorry Mr. vegabomb. Yes, John Hass did do that but in IHBA back in 2005. There have been quicker and faster passes since. Sorry about the confusion about being an open cockpit boat and a capsuled one. I would give hints, but anything would give it away.

Eddie has run 222.22 mph while backing up his ET record, but the 220.76 is the offical speed record.

that's just hauling a$$, esc in an open boat. Now the capsuled ones are runing in the 4.50's over 260.
I had a chance to drive me dad's boat a few years back with a 468 BBC and estimated 110. That's was hauling also. My older brother used to drive in in Pro Gas Flat and had run in the 7.50's close to 140.

The fastest I`ve been on water was 65 mph. Even that seemed scary fast.
