Here's my Walmart taillight. It came from the bicycle section. The mount fit the helmet bar perfectly. Pros- Cheap Battery powered. No drain on the car battery. Batteries last a long time. Multiple flash patterns or steady on. Cons You have to make sure to turn it on. Make sure you have spare batteries. Flashing taillight illegal by NHRA rules.

I see you!! Here's my idea for next year. It's a motorcycle mirror. I sell them for about $6 each. The clamp is a little too small for the bar. I'll have to drill the clamp out a little. I won't know how well they work till next year. I hope they help with backing up and to at least tell if the other car is coming and not broke somewhere behind me.

Bug screen. This can be found at Walmart or the dollar store in the kitchen section. Remove the handle and bolt to the tray. Yes my tray is upside down. We flipped it to lower the scoop a little. Always use self locking nuts and you will never have to worry abour it coming loose. Mine's a little distorted and blackened from too may fires.

A top off a destroyed canopy fits my car perfectly. I turned it diagonally. One corner on the chute one on the nose.

Low compression, Hydraulic cam, Pump gas engine. Yeah, Mark told me all about it before. Just go out and have fun and no maintainence That's the way to bracket race all summer long a mangeable budget. Except for gas/fuel, oil and a few spark plugs (maybe), pretty much all winnings is profit. Great formula for a fun summer.
