I took off my holley 750 & installed a new intake & 1050 Dominator 8896 Ultra HP. It came with 90 jets square, I lowered it to 88 square, seems a little crisper, but. It has adjustable linkage, soft, intermediate, progressive & 1 to 1. It came in the #3 hole (progressive) Gas pedal is very stiff, it's the carb not the return springs. Car is a different animal. Never had a Dominator before.........I'm lost Can you help? RBS

I run a 1050, I don't know why the linkage would be tight, I've never changed linkage on mine, is it tight if you move it by hand. I found my car was crisper. But it did not come to life until KEN JONES flowed it knocked off .3 and 4 mph

I had accidentally installed the squiter cams backwards on mine a few years ago and made the linkage very tight. Turn it around and fixed the problem.
