My personal opinion is that it's ok. I see no problem with it. BUT, this isn't about what I think It's about what YOU think. ;D

I think the bike guys should be able to race with cars especially at events like Megabucks. If they want to pay the entry, why shouldn't they be able to race for the big bucks?

Yes, I say let them race together! Let the fast streetbikes run with Pro, and let the delay box bikes run in Super Pro. MIDSTATE does it! EDDYVILLE RACEWAY PARK does it! I only wish those two tracks were`nt 4 1/2 hours away.

It doesn't matter to me, I'll race against anyone.

With the massive amount of people that responded to this poll in such a positive way I just don't understand why the racetracks make such a big deal about combining the two. Sounds to me like the racers here don't care who or whats in the other lane. I have actually heard racers at my home track say things like" that street car doesn't deserve to race against dragsters". When Denny raced my Busa at a a small track north of us I heard a pro racer say"whats that bike with the psychedelic wheels doing in our class. He has a class and should stay in it." It sounds to me that there a lot of chicken racers out there that don't want to be limberest when their $40,000 ride gets put on the trailer by a $8000 bike. Better yet a $1500 street car. OK, done know. Flame away! ;D

We used to race bikes at the old Gateway. Not sure why or when they stopped. I really didn't care for it back then. Bottom line, Gateway run's it, we run around in it. (kinda like your average household).

My personal opinion is that it's OK. I see no problem with it. BUT, this isn't about what I think It's about what YOU think. ;D When I first got back into bracket racing I hated to run a bike OR a dragster. It don't bother me at all anymore. I race the track, and once in a while the guy in the other lane at the stripe. What I dislike is tracks that don't have the upper limit in pro class. I switched to s/p because of it. I think the tracks should go by the nhra guide lines if they are a nhra track. s/p has a slow limit, pro should too.
