As long as they stay out of Pro class, I don't care.

I'll try to make it short. Was at Mobile Dragway in 04 for a New Years $5000 to win. had 128 cars starting, I made it down to 24. They started to pay winning the 5th round. I lost hte 5th round. Had 1st & 2nd round buy backs. Didn't use one. During the 3rd round, I got paired up with one of those short dragsters. I drilled him, blipped him twice at the finish line and took the strip by a few hundredths. He followed me back to the trailer. Told me that noone in a door car on this track has ever blipped him and won and I did it twice. Do all the people from Texas drive that way? I told him ya'll invited me over and now I am inviting you to Texas. He said NO WAY, haha. Then he proceeds to tell me that he was the 03 track champ. Oh sorry dragster dude, I drove 450 miles to win myself.

In super pro if a track has a even amount I think that it would be cool to see them seperated for the a couple rounds and then combined, but you would need a pretty even number of both. Some big bucks races are starting to seperate them for the first couple of rounds which I don't think is a bad thing. You would probably see more door cars run in super pro. I have drove both and won in both, but there is no doubt that in super pro that the dragster has the advantage. In pro I don't think it should matter what you drive as long as you have no box and run the ET requirements.

It would be OK with me if dragsters would race each other until there was only one. Do same with door cars. Then race each other in finals. But I dont think it will ever happen.

All that guy did was run within the rules of the class which there was nothing wrong with. There are more dragsters every year in pro at Indy, but it is not a big deal as log as they run in the ET range that is required. I think it was the stereo system that was in the dragster that had them all flustered, but maybe it was the nut behind the wheel. LOL!

I know that sounds good in all, but bracket racing has evolved into so much more than that. Yes the starting line is huge, but as tight as the racing has become the finish line racing is just as big if not more important than the starting line which falls into the faster car that is putting the race in front of him or closer to him. ( which in most cases is a dragster in super pro because it is easier to go faster in ) Thats why at race tracks with several good drivers in a dragster you won't see many door cars in the winners circle. This by no means that you can't win in a door car it is just stating the fact that in a class like super pro the dragster dis in the advantage.
