As this off season approaches please take the time to check all of your safety gear and SFI expiration dates. Plan ahead to send items in for re-certification. Also lets not forget all those little things that add up during a race season like minor fluid leaks, leaky header gaskets and rechecking suspension and steering components for loose or worn parts. Not only will maintaining your car in the off season make the time go by quicker it will make next year at the track more enjoyable and less stressful for you and your competitors. With all of that said our cars are in pretty good shape and yet my list grows daily as things come to mind.

I was going to put my car in the shop for the winter this weekend. But I found out Coles County is racing. I might head up there. It would be nice to make another race and set up as a vendor.
I need to get my belts updated this winter also.

Had to change the seat belts in both caars this year. Mine were actually 1 year out of date when I noticed them. I couldn't remember what year this was.
