Just got this email
Dear WWTR Drag Strip Racers:
World Wide Technology Raceway’s drag strip will start the RTI process on Friday and Saturday during ETI hours: Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The RTI is designed for your typical “street car” -- mostly the Wide Open Wednesday, Midnight Madness and Mid-America Heads-up participants.
This will be a drive-up, stay-in-your-car service.
We are asking everyone to bring ALL safety equipment with them. They will proceed through the main gate and into the infield. The west side of the infield pavilion will have a drive-up lane for RTI.
Everyone needs to complete the digital RTI form that is attached, and print out two (2) copies. We will not have any forms available at the track so you MUST bring them with you. You will go through the standard tech Inspection process. Once we verify that everything on your car is legal, we will issue a sticker for the year with a WWTR number that you will use at each event. We will keep one copy of the completed RTI and you will get one copy back that you must keep in your car and bring it with you to each event. The RTI will be valid for two (2) years – unless safety equipment expires first.

Possibly next weekend if the stars align You mean expensive stars🙄$160 for a team session 1 racer 3 crew members=team Like us bikes are even are lucky enough to get 1 crew member But street bikes can do street car testing for $60 and 1 crew but no slick or bar bikes Again bikes get the shaft🙄

So if me and Zach go to test it’s $320 for 2 bikes but we can bring 3 crew members each now that’s stupid

Pat is 100% correct! The bad deal of a large facility like Gateway is the cost to open the gates. I usually do not go to tnt unless I am having issues, but for someone who hasn't hit the track all season, to pay $160 to go in with limited cars on property, allows you to be able to make a lot of passes. If a guy goes and makes 7-10 passes over 5 hours, that's not bad money spent!

I would like to test the WJ car but 160 buck is a little salty. I understand with the limited participants it would be a reasonable expense. I also can't plan on this short of notice especially a holiday weekend
