How about they do three 10s for $100 a day? That's great as long as they don't add the 17 rounds of buyback, double entries, and $1000 runner up. There are too many good races that succeed to model after, all they need to do is try it. They could be successful with 3 5k races if they structure they race well. I don’t know the particulars but look for 3 tens next year

How can gateway put the outlaw tracks to shame apples to apples? More parking to pay taxes on more shutdown room more bathrooms to clean if you want to take a dump at gateway pick from 20 chitters vs one at sikeston? Wider longer track to glue? Real ambulance to pay for and a safety crew to pay to clean up oil or whatever. How bout a state of the art timing system vs the glitches at sikeston. No excuses here on it’s cut and dry . So if there was no need to split at sikeston why did the last four in no box split the money 4 ways and not even race? I agree with all your points. Gateway is a premier facility. and is exactly why I say they can put all the outlaw tracks to shame with some effort. You can run a little discount program and probably not break even or run a big boy program at a first class facility.

It would be great for all of us to have a nice race to attend at home.

You can run a little discount program and probably not break even or run a big boy program at a first class facility. With a premier facility, such as, Gateway (WWTR), they may actually be money ahead to not run some of the programs and even the ones suggested on here. The owners are actually pretty smart, I'm sure. They probably weigh the actual cost of a program (lights, insurance, staffing, ambulance, maintenance, etc.) against the potential revenue. If they don't see a real world value in trying to run an event like, say, an I-57 or Sikeston, they aren't going to do it. Especially, if Buy Backs won't help that much. You all, really do have some great ideas. But, it is easy for us to spend other people's money.

I’m good at spending my own money too!
I’ve no doubt that Gateway has plenty of intelligent people working for them. And bracket racing isn’t making them rich. But, it sure would be cool if they’d give a real shot at finding a spot for a big dollar bracket race.

No argument, here, Jim. It would be fantastic if they could run a bracket program with both big and small races many times during the season. As far as spending money... we are all guilty.

Unfortunately Sunday is a track rental. If they got rid of the time run . And had buybacks I think 5 hours is all they need , yes the last race took from 11:40am was the only time run to the final at 5:55pm

The mustang could be close to 13.99 in those conditions sunny and 47 with a high pressure system. I hope I get to play
