getting ready to purchase one, what do you use and why? I look up at the sky , if sunny , or cloudy, lay brick out if it gets more than 3 drops of rain , its raining! Look at the flags to see which way the wind is blowing . Lol I know you guys missed me lol

I have crew chief. I bought the whole system from Don Higgins. It works great. Can't beat it for index racing. 2nd pass you are usually dead on.

I use the old coputech that looks like and old calculator but I bought it new in 1997 for $400 using my first pro winners purse of $600

It only updates about every hour is the down side. But if you happened to run right after an update is was within a few thou multiple times. Even if it wasnt just updated it was within a .01 most runs.

For the majority of the races we all race they are not needed, if your a racer planning on throttle stop racing especially running divisional or National events over several days, then I believe it is a must have! Things change over days and seems to effect throttle stop racing more than running wide open.
