What do you guys think 🤔 was trump correct saying we have a lot invested in you guys and I’m not very happy with you guys Yes I believe Trump was right in what he said American tax payers/workers bailed out G.M. Trade agreements renegotiated that should also benefit the American auto industry G.M. wants to shut down plants do it outside of U.S. and then Canada By the way make better cars that people want to buy

Yes I'm biased. The Impala is not selling well it's an excellent car. Everyone is buying SUVs. They are discontinuing the model along with a couple more. GM did pay back the bail out by the way. THey are changing the lineup for cars people want to buy. There stock went up after the announcement, so appears the stock market and investors think it's the right idea.

The stock went up, of course... eliminating job positions by the thousands and other costs helps the bottom line. That makes investors happy. The President is correct in his statements on GM. SUV's stink. There are way too many of them. This trend will reverse eventually. It always does. Think they have made a mistake. And that Turbo 4 cylinder Silverado! That's funny.

From what I read G.M. paid back their firs tarp loan with a second tarp loan - it was political bolstering by the Obama administration I'm not sure who makes the best cars any more , it seems they all have their problems The stock market has always been happy when corporations get rid of large amounts of workers , the stock market doesn't have the American workers best interest in mind , they are more worried abot the global market Getting rid of cars to push suv's will bite Ford and G.M. in the ass when gas goes back above 3 dollars a gallon Just wait when you see electric cars go more main stream the government is going to start taxing by the mile driven for road repair and maintenance These are mostly my opinions and not Representative of any corporation or government office lol

You all know even the little Chevy Trax, Equinox, Traverse, those are all SUVs. They fall under truck emission standards. These are what people want. Most imports as well are SUVs. I think they are making a mistake also, the Impala is an extremely nice car. Not sure how the 4 cyl turbo Silverado will be but I know a guy that tows across the country pulling a 26' enclosed trailer with a Ford v-6 turbo. Loves it and says empty he gets upper 20 mpg. Electric cars will be the mainstream in a few years. I would buy another Volt if anything happened to mine. I prefer not to have range anxiety.

I am not sure about the 4 cylinder turbo, but I have the 1/2 ton ford with the twin turbo v6 and it tows my 24ft trailer that weighs around 8500 loaded pretty darn good! I was very surprised. It still only gets around 7-8 mpg towing, but gets around 20mpg just driving which isn't too bad. Seems this subject is brought up on GM, Kevin what is your take on the Malibu? Good looking car and been thinking of getting one as my daily driver.

The only car we have I don't care for is the spark. I don't like small cars. The engines in them are mostly the same and transmission also. That's one downfall of spark it's a VCT trans they are junk. Malibu is a great car, I prefer Impala larger same fuel mileage but costs a little more.

To me this feels like the same BS as the NFL. They are going to keep making vehicals (although the media acts like they will all be electric in just a few years) So they are looking at what city will give them the best tax abatement and insentives (Inside US or outside). They will move wherever they get the best Deal.

Garenteed it will be a right to work state. This is all because of poor negotiation at the bargaining table on GMs part . Just a hunch maybe I’m totally way off
