Saturday July 7 is now going to be the heads up and index racing that was on the schedule for July 3rd.
Weather looks like is should be nice. I want to go.
The event says its using PSCA rules and Deep staging is allowed.
Question: what is the "proper courtesy way to deep stage for an event like this.
1) Should you wait for both cars to pre stage before you go deep OR 2) Do they want you to go ahead and get deep staged as soon as possible?

I get deep immediately. No courtesy especially since it’s a pro tree. I like beer fully deep as they finish their burnout,

Write DEEP on all sides big and clear. It is also a courtesy to advise your competitor in the lanes. Make sure to find out in advance from the starting line officials if they are waiting for deep cars. If yes, then be courteous to the other driver. Take two bulbs and wait. If no, then all bets are off and you need to get in there asap.
This can be a touchy subject.

IMO it’s actually a courtesy to stage asap that way if 4 bulbs are lit he isn’t guessing if the tree will start or not

I thought this was a series of races and by now the protocal for deep staging would have already been established. Do most people Not deep stage on a .400 pro tree.. and if not why not? I believe delay boxes are allowed. If so, Worse case it seems like staging deep and then rolling in .00x delay would be a better bet than staging normal. Am I stupid?

Unless it is against the rules, you can always deep stage. If the starter is allowing it you can take a little time getting in just right. Since the tree start is held by him for safety. This is the big difference. You can't assume they will hold the tree.
Yes, if you go deep and put "a few thow in the box" you can get pretty good on a .400 pro tree. Takes practice. Like anything else. If you add the pressure of hurrying in to get positioned where you want before they drop the tree it might be more trouble than it is worth.
One more thing. Don't forget going deep will add to your et. Usually more than a 1/10.
