EFI will definitely be easier for them to tune. And they will be able to adjust EFI curve to help with traction.[/quote]
Very true. It's almost limitless on the things you can do. My brother has tried for years to get me to convert the dragster to the same FAST XFI he uses. Cons for me would be upfront cost, I'm on Alky, kind of touchy with what you do and how it would stay legal....and he is the programming guru, not me. I will tell you though...it's so cool to be able to change complete tunes and make small changes on the fly!!

What I heard is within 3 years the only engines pro stock can use will be from the factory. It will be a blown crate motor with minor mods. The ford cornea jet engines make 1500hp stock with the 4 liter blower so with alittle work it will be close to 1800 like they have now. Would be interesting to see how well these factory motors live at 1800HP. Hasn't ford pulled all out of every class and sponsorship lol Even with the hemi redesign version ford wasn't very competitive in pro stock they couldnt build the Power to sustain May not be a way to keep one engine/car body combo competitive without going the way of pro bike class add weight. Still the harleys so out classes the field I just don't think any thing they are saying will help pro stock They all ready have the factory cars out there and they are not the big hit as advertised and no one can afford them as well

Ford has no interest in pro stocks current form. They don't resemble anything ford sells. That's why Larry Morgan got no help.

Ford hasn't supported pro stock in years to be truthful about it. Ford pulling out of all the pro ranks had nothing to do with whether the cars looked the part All to do with money crab NHRA Be that as it may To field a pro stock car for a year is up words of 3-8 mil A top fuel funny car. 10-15 mil I'm being generous on that amount Even those cobra cars you speak of is out of The team realm of most any bracket guys and few pro team
