So don't prep the track so the guys wilth good cars now have bad cars. The guys with bad cars have bad cars now they might win more. Let's hurt the guys that work to have good cars. Good idead.

This guy is an idiot. What plant does he live on? 64 drag radial cars at the same track racing for $1000 ? You would be luck to get 8 and that's if you begged the locals. And as for not prepping the track that won't make any new winners. The fast guys will make a few small changes and dial up and still win or lots of down time because of crashing and engine explosions.

Not exactly what I feel he was stating.
I believe what Jok was saying is, the tracks need not spend $1000 or whatever a week to prep the track for the cars (the minority) that have to have the absolute, best traction in order to make a decent pass every time.
You go to many of the smaller tracks around and a large amount of those 1/8th mile cars have 14"x 32" and larger tires on a car that runs 7.0's at the best. They don't have to worry about traction anywhere and are very competitive. Those track owners don't spend a fortune on prep, either. Some people have very good slow cars and still can't win.
The ideas expressed in the past two articles do have some merit to them.

The race format at the end of the article sounds fun. Not sure if the event would/could really start at 6pm and conclude at 8:30 ( I think thats what he suggested) but I'd be all for something like that.
