I don't know how my son does it. The altered has an exposed trans which requires a 5 layer suite. I guess because he's a carpenter and is out in the heat during the summer helps, but he is usually dripping after a run.

I don't have a problem wearing mine. It seems like I'm ok until I put on my gloves. Then I start getting hot. I put on my jacket when we are called to lanes because I don't get out of the car until I get back from the pass. I don't put on my gloves until I'm behind the tower.

put some gym shorts on and then you can take the pants off between rounds if you want. other than that just got to put a mental block on it.

I wear my pants and racing shoes all day at the track. You just get used to it. But I am also a union carpenter and have been since I was 18 so I don't even own a pair of shorts. Just ask any experienced roofer and he will tell you you are cooler with pants and a long sleeve tshirt.

Next time you go and race we'll duct tape you to the seat in your car so you can't get out so you'll get use to it right away

I made 5 or so back to back passes at a T&T one night. A firesuit is pretty cool once you sweat through it. I thought I was going to have to drill a hole in the seat to let the sweat drain out.

Depends a lot on the weather. If it's over 85 degrees I wear gym shorts and don't suit up until I'm under the crosswalk. Below 85 and I'm like Jason pants on till I'm done. Worse issue for me is when I wrap the neck collar around my neck, then I start getting warm fast. I leave the visor up until I let go of the button then I close it, and as I'm coming down the return road all of that crap is coming off...

Yes water every pass. Also when it's hot I have those neck collars you soak in cold water.

Yes water every pass. Also when it's hot I have those neck collars you soak in cold water. Same here except mine is a towel soaked in the cooler until we getting ready to head to the lanes. Seems as the older I get the worse it gets. We were in Indy a few weeks ago for the Divisional race and we were wearing jackets and long pants in the morning and t-shirts and shorts in the afternoon. Crazy weather...
