It's great to see them in the news and in general it is a good read.
Just my honest and humble opinion here... they missed an oportunity to at least mention all the weekly racing that happens there though. Instead the only mentions were the bigger events and midnight madness and Street Outlaws only.

Be lucky that any media outlet gave anytime to GMP As with anything news print A lot was originally written Only the sweetest part of the watermelon used lol You know you have let the watermelon grow from a seed hopefully mother nature will help it flourish and then go through the rind to find the sweet spot. I Cant believe u most of your statements about GMP and Curtis are not positive .I guess Im shocked by your statement about the ship sinking Or something like that .SMH . Even though Gateway has made a successful turnaround, there are still some social media bashers who are saying the track won’t make it. “For all those naysayers out there, we’ve proved them wrong,” Blair said. “We’ve been investing and improving the people that work here. We’ve given the racers a level of confidence. Gateway is a place to go to play with their cars. We’ve had a consistency with our schedule from start to finish.” Other highlights include the second annual St. Louis Nostalgia Rendezvous on May 9, the Professional Drag Racers Association will make its Gateway debut on May 29-30, the Hot Rod Power Tour on June 8, the Fun Ford and Gateway E.T. Championship series on July 25. The NHRA Lucas Oil drag racing series returns on Aug. 8 for the third annual All-American Hot Rod Showdown. The United Black Drag Racers Association is back on Sept. 12-13 and on Oct. 17-18 the Midwest Junior Championship series, a bracket racing event where the winner can take home $10,000, ends their 2015 tour at Gateway.

I guess it comes from seeing this before Lack of racers for what ever reason We can all count the reasons They have lost me as a points racer which means little I like everyone else see a product that could be great considering that GMP is out everyone's back door and to watch it go thru yet more struggles year after year You do wonder just how long does it stay afloat Missteps missed opportunities Yes I am critical of the owner rightfully so Not for improvements or purchase of the place Im critical because of years of missteps non fixing of issues that are easy to over come

Our lives have miss steps some by bad choices some by no fault of ours . The 4 points races in a row doesnt sit well with you ,is it GMP fault ?
PS just watched CH 2 it has a piece on GMP so news outlets are much better than the Dover owned days . Lost racers maybe .Maybe racers wont change and accept change from the 70,80,90s. I know couple that bought cars and coming back out in 2015 .
