Mine is stuck at the 3 o'clock position, tried new sending unit, didn't work. I gave it the old slap upside the head treatment, no workee
ANY IDEAL?

It's probably the gauge. I've had an autometer electric water temp gauge do the same thing. New gauge with the old sending unit fixed it

Yep need new gauge I take it even unplugged it stays at the 3 o'clock

Autometer is pretty good about fixing their stuff. You should give them a call.

My POS rattled so hard this year that it shook the needle loose on the mechanical gauge and engine off it now reads 15psi

Took it out of the car and threw it on workbench. When it landed it sounded like a spring broke. ...put it back in works fine now...autometer said that's common Oh well fixed is fixed
