Don't believe there is an 1/8 mile track anywhere near here that you can race at with your car unless you stop it on the top end. They all appear to be too short.

Did they prep the track or let the cars put down the rubber. That is a quick pass for a new track.

no track prep when I first got there, track was as green as a new highway, burnouts was done closer to the line to bring rubber close to the line, the burn out box they built is like Sikeston and coles county as you pull in a lane and back up or into a water trauff, and pull out ,as the day went they start to use the water trauffthey don't have a machine to lay down glue, just hand pump bottles, they have a tractor with a dragger,im sure they will get the things they need as they go along, jarrod had a drivers meeting saying as long as racers come he will put back into the track,he knows the shut down is a little short but that's all he has to work with,he says most drivers don't like to pull shuts but if you need to use them,i see this track doing good, and he will make updates, theres no lighting at this time and they run till dark till they get that, theres light but guess not hooked up yet,i understand todays cars are faster, but if you feel you cant stop don't go just that simple,he has more work to do on pits putting down rock and and intrance as it was dusty, but he wanted to get the doors open and work on it as needed, may might not be the nicest track but its a place to race and enjoy the sport,i guess if racers feel they cant stop they should stay at a track like gateway
