Listen up! if you have slip fit collectors on your headers they will have to either be welded or tethered. And if you decide to tether them they have to be NHRA approved. This is for all cars, all classes and all events.
Best deal on approved header collector tethers we have found is from PRP. We are a dealer for them and can order any combo of clamps and cables you need.

I been reading this and keeping up what they say, class racer and yellow bullit has threads on this,a 1" weld would work or buy the approved nhra products out there, ihra doesn't require this, this is only for slip on collectors and headers bolt together, guess someones collector came off and they ran over it is why this came about

Broken tabs, bolts fell out, whatever the reason collectors are falling off. Ask Dennis. I bet he's found plenty on the racetrack. I know it has happened to me before. Luckily no harm was done.

PRP does not have their version on the website yet. They sell all the pieces separate. Primary clamps, cables and secondary clamps. Since there are so many different headers types out there it makes the inventory and parts look up easier. They do make several parts that other places sell under their house brand labels. www.prpracingproducts.com/
