Right now I have 4.56's and I'm at max rpm just past the 1/8 finish. I went to Richmond's site www.richmondgear.com/index.php/gear-transmission-calculatorsI entered the know numbers. Vehicle Weight (in pounds) 2000 Vehicle Horsepower 450 RPM through lights (finish line) 5400 Tire Diameter (Hght.) in Inches 33 It gave me these numbers 1/4 Mile ET 9.4 1/4 Mile Top End Speed 142.39 Ideal 1/4 Mile Gear Ratio 3.72 1/8 Mile ET 5.99 I currently run 6.50's at around 106. Opinions?

Opinions? I would think that would be correct, rpms seam low for some reason on that chart

The rpm is the max that I can run with my engine combo.
I think I leave at 3000. I'd have to check. I shift at 5200.
If I make the change, I'll probably go with a 3.50 gear,
