looked at the pictures they posted on the track website, and it looks like they only replaced the right lane. as long as that concrete has been there they should have replaced both lanes

I haven't been there to see it but if you look at the 2nd pic, it looks like the saw is parked in the left lane.

looked at the pictures they posted on the track website, and it looks like they only replaced the right lane. as long as that concrete has been there they should have replaced both lanes Both lanes were replaced from the beginning of the waterbox to 330 feet. We had previously posted on the website we were replacing the concrete to the 330 feet. I took the pictures on the website in the right lane on Saturday when I got to the track before they cut the left lane.

My wife and i went to help Sat. and I'm here to tell you.....the track looks KILLER!!! We snapped the chaulk lines for the saw cut on the left lane and both lanes are smooth and look really flat.
There are water cooling lines running from just inside the water box area all the way to the end of the concrete too with a new well to supply water. When you add in all the new lights/poles, new bleacher seats, pit road & parking work and other mods.....CID is on track to being a VERY nice facility.
Cudo's to Frank & his new staff for spending the $$$ and putting in the sweat to try and make something great.

I think the long term vision is to do that. At least the roads and rock area. I know they are looking at doing some asphault this year but it's not to those areas. Personally, I like grass parking with paved roads. All paved is too damn hot. Clean but hot.
Eddyville is a real nice set up. unless you get parked in the area below the staging lanes when it's wet.
Main thing I see is you have a small, private track spending $$ and making improvements. Show me another place doing this much?
Just given them their props.
