I just hold it to the mat and go against the converter. Wait till you see the second bulb and mat it. Kevin Prior, Steve Pearson and Ron Nilges all use starting line enhancers.

I try to keep my spot the same and change the car to change my reaction. I bet your natural spot is red so when you hesitate that i when the bad ones come in. You probably need to slow the react of the car.

Mike I use it as a starting line control only in brackets, Steve can only use it in S/P it's not allowed in pro(bad rule) I think Ron still uses it as a starting line control instead of 2 step also

I don't know why, I always thought there was more to a 'starting line enhancer' than just using an air cylinder instead of a two-step for the launch. What do I know anyway? I'm just a dumb old foot-braker!

Starting line enhancer set up in the box will not floor car until your bulb comes on so your not on 2 step for longer spots

My box has a SLE setting. I'm good there. I already have a throttle stop so all I need is a one way cylinder.
w333's is set up to hit the 2 step 2 or 3 bumps before the green. I'd like to not hit the 2 step. Just leave like a foot brake car does. I guess I'll need a valve to control opening rate. It will be interesting to see how it affects ET.

After thinking about it, I hope you can still hit the tires hard enough to plant them and keep them planted doing it this way.

It will not slow down as much as you think. Several of my cars run the same footbraking to just about 4 hun slower. My s10 was not as consistent leaving off the footbrake as it did not plant the tires.

Actually, my car ran faster when I was footbraking it when we first put it together. It's been 6.20's but runs 40's-50's now. Of course we have made a lot of changes since then.
