Alright guys and gals I have another Pro Tree Shootout Race coming up this Saturday. We have made a change to the gate times posted on the flyer. Gates open at 2:00 pm and time runs start at 4pm. We also are allowing Motorcycles in the classes as well. I have had alot alot of question about delay boxes and just want to clarify that I dont mind if you have a box in your car as long as you zero it out or put a peice of tape over it.

No electronics and no delay boxes leaves a lot of cars out of this race

Explain to me how a delay box is going to help you on a .400 pro tree with no auto start. What other electronics are you talking about?

My car will go red on a pro tree without using a delay box.

From what I was told a box is allowed, just zero it out.

If you look at my screen name you will notice it is sg3526...you know like Super Gas. My cars are pretty much purpose built to leave on a Pro Tree. My box is also used to shift my car and i don't want to add a RPM switch to my car just so I can race a handful of events throughout the year.

Looks like a good time. The only thing I question is the "doorcars only". It seems there wouldn't be many 6.40 dragsters but that's what my altered runs. A car like mine also uses a electric shifter. I can run with the box zeroed out. Heck, I'd probably footbrake it.

I read on facebook that: zero out delay box, OK. Throttle stops, OK. I ran the last one with elec. shift and transbrake, no problems. It is a fun race.

I would be red every run without a box. I would have to try and hesitate i guess. I would try it still but. ...

Yes guys I allow altered and roadsters. Also you can have electronic shifters, trans brake, restrictor plates, throttle stops. Dont let the no delay box rule keep you from racing on saturday the pro tree is the equilizer. I think we are going to have a good car count sat so come out and have some fun.

Sounds like a great time. I like the guaranteed payout structure. Pays more than S/P for the amount of cars and the entry is $5.00 cheaper. Good Stuff!
