Chad, my comment wasn't aimed at you and i don't think Jarrod's was either. i think most of us know what it takes to make a track successful. most of us are wondering why its taking cid so long to figure it out, its not like it hasn't been done down there before

Oh it's cool. I didn't care if you were ripping me. Lord only know's I diss it out enough so I should take some back!! Sully, Ed and I are talking about taking both cars down for that race. I haven't looked at payouts yet but, I am sure the only other race that would be close it is Byron's. The are a fun bunch of people...both racers & track staff so it's likely we will. Hey Wisdom, Mopar= expensive / high-maitenance / fragile Tore the dragster apart last night and the rocker is the only thing broke. (thank god) Didn't even hurt a push rod so it should be ready again shortly.

What brand of rockers are you using? It will usually spit a lifter out when that happens.

In my opinion things won't get better until they get someone to manage the place that has a love for the sport and has a background in drag racing to at least some degree.
Hiring Mitch was a great step in the right direction but Mitch can't do it by himself.
Edited by crossbonesdennis. I removed all the personal info about employees of CID. If you guys want to talk track conditions, payouts or lack of and disagreements with management that's one thing but leave the personal attacks out of it.

What brand of rockers are you using? It will usually spit a lifter out when that happens. They are the Indy "dove" rockers. We knew they were not good for high rpm's but hoped to make through year end. It broke at 1500 rpms while warming it at the trailer. Popped & died. The lifter was up but not hurt. Pretty lucky.....I think. We are orderign some T&D's shortly.
