I didn't make it to this last weekend of racing at cid and I'm kinda glad do to the drama, people should remember the same issue came up last season. But other than that all Ive seen and heard were positive comments and it seems the mass majority had a good time which to me at least is a good sign the track is headed in the right direction

If running racers away and giving the track a terrible reputation for how it treats its racers is the right direction then more power to you!

excuse me? i said with the exception of that incident and made it clear i wasnt there this weekend. I have nothing against jeremy at all and think he is an awesome bracket racer, but last year the same "insident "v occured over the sensor. So 338d i dont know you , i dont know if you race regularly at havana( this is the second race i've missed in two years, but when there are some positive things happening at my home track im dam sure gonna mention it.

Last year when they made me unplug it every run I won. The tech guy never said it was illegal just that it was making people mad. I told him I would unplug it before I ran. Plus that tech guy is gone. I do think that from watching racers I know that the traction was much better. I don't think they could run a much slower program.

I am sorry for adding that to your thread here Bill and really did not want to offend you in any way. It just blows me away that these tracks complain about the small car counts and then go and do something like the Jeremy incident to a racer and expect people to come. Not that he should get any better treatment than anyone else, but he races at more tracks in a season than most racers and the bad news will get past onto many racers. It's no different than any other type of business it takes about 5 good things to make up for one bad and this was a very bad treatment. Anyway I for one want to see all of these little tracks survive, but things like this do not help that.

Why in the world would you try and use it again? Just because the other tech guy was not there, doesn't mean they would allow it now. Somebody had to complain about you using it. Maybe they thought it was a delay box. I don't know who they were, I wasn't there either, but If I were running a class that didn't allow boxs, you bet I'd say something to the officials. I've read the rule book on this subject several times, and still haven't decided what they truly mean. Did the official actually say you were cheating? If he did, he should have looked to see what you had long before the end of the evening. Things may not have been handled like you thought they should have been, but I do believe they are trying to make things work there. There is so much drama at these tracks any more, no wonder why the owners keep bailing out.

One great thing that happened Saturday (even though I wasn't there) was that Bubba Jones finally got that Chevy II in the Winner's Circle this year!! Just want to say congrats to my dad and the whole crew! Heard there was a great after party and many saw the sun rise!

I just unhooked it to prove i didnt need it. Anyone that thinks this is a delay box doesnt know what one looks like. The tech guys words sat night was "you got away with it this time but not next time" he said it was legal in sportsman but not street which makes no sence as their street rules are dot tires mufflers etc. I really dont think he knows what it was. When i offered to show it to him he wasnt interested. So why did i use it? Bc its legal. Also although connected and light up while stagine it was not actually showing data as i had not reset it since i restarted the car. It may have been the first eounds i cant remember but not the rest as the car was up to temp and i didnt need it. I have helemt cam videos from my runs if anyone wants to see if i was up to anything. I cant believe they dont think my helemt cam is an optical reader or something.

If it's legal in sportsman, then I'd be asking to see why it's not in street. Do you go through tech when you go there? I'd go through tech with it pluged in next time, and have a copy out of the rule book if they question it. I'm sure some of the guys thought it was a delay box of some sort. We've seen some guys running a box it pro before, so it's not something new. We all have things we don't like that come up. Sounds like you have quite a few friends up here too, come on back up.

I dont even care if i get to use it going down the track but im not going to be called a cheater when i go to the tower. dont feel bad jeremy. they call me a cheater alot. point is they gota beat ya, and if they keep crying the'll keep losing and thats more ammo for you and your stellar GEO PRIZM come on guys hes racing a GEO PRIZM. dO you have a auto shifter in that thing too arent those illegal in street to. i think the helmet cam is hooked to the tree no way you can be that good. Maybe the cam works some magic with the stripe when you tree them.
see you at the track jeremy. u can leave it plugged in against me.
