No disrespect to the great employes of yesteryear, but this new crew is not afraid of work or racing late! From the owner being hands on, and Rod Walter loving dragracing, marine mike , who is the hiring manager, to pat and his wife, these people like being friendly and want to serve a quilty product to the fans and racers! They were going to run yesterday till every racer had plenty of runs ! Pat said 10 pm was when we mite be done , so if u like racing these are the people u want

Awesome, great to hear! I had a blast yesterday, everyone was great. Tech was a little harsh but hey totally understand that, they are an NHRA track and need to go by NHRA rules. My stuff was legal but I know many were scrambling. That's what you have to expect though when its a new track new ownership I just hope it doesn't scare people away. But overall they did a phenomenal job for opening day! The announcer was pretty good too. Janie

While alot of thing were not run smoothly yesterday I was very pleased with the demeanor of every employee i spoke to yesterday. I asked the water box guy to spray the water wider bc the water would not go around the wwhole tire and not only was he polite he took the suggestion in stride unlike some of the employees in the past. In times past you would have never dared how the job was being done.

I was please also with many parts of the new GMP . We would never have seen a owner ,GM ,let alone a manager get out their and work mingle . Might have been a little over staffed at the line ,maybe learning watching the V.P guy prepping bald spots . I think the water box guy will need to know what type of cars, bike, jrs are running to know if its too much not enough .Learning curve again . Tommy was the best .IMO. At 6.00pm we were still there but leaving ,looked like Curtis was going around picking up the cans blown over . Who the dumbass that wouldn't take his grill back home ,left it . As I said tech will be the issue with most novice racer .A Certain racer that runs low 9s seat belts outs helmet out . I might even return next SAT .

I was surprised to see Curt walking through the entrance line introducing himself to everyone and shaking hands. I've never seen that.
I agree on the starting line people. A lot of them were new to drag racing, but they all seemed willing to learn.

my fear is that they are way overstaffed. If they are paying all those people they will never be able to turn a profit on bracket racing.

Jeremy they won't work everyone every race they just wanted everyone there for opening day to learn there position, as time goes by I only see things getting better

They will make enough on M.M to carry the bracket program and OAS . We have a cash outlay hopefully good enough to carry our car counts . But then we still don't know do we ?
