11-28-09. This is off of Gateways web site. Funny it says nothing about weekly bracket racing. It says to look for surprises on the schedule. Surprises belong in my cereal box not on my race schedule.
There will also be all the great local racing action on Tuesdays with the Street Car Shootout Series, the Doc's Harley-Davidson Quick Street Bike Series, and the test-and-tune where you can race your personal car down GIR's drag strip! In addition to the events Gateway fans and racers have come to expect such as Monster Mopar and MegaBuck$, look for some surprises on the 2010 schedule.

Nothing about bracketracing... The bracket racing program doesn't seem to get the ink it used to or deserves. I was trying to keep an open mind and not read into it but that is tough.

GW doesn't show on the Pinks All Out 2010 schedule either.
(I know the dragster guys don't care..but the place was packed for that event, spectators and contestants)

What gets me is that they are talking about tuesday nights and say "and the test-and-tune where you can race your personal car down GIR's drag strip!"... Hello! there has been a STREET ET bracket class for years, where people race their personal cars down the strip, why isnt Gateway promoting that?

The closest they will get is Topeka and Joliet, according to the schedule posted on TV last week.

I understand that NHRA requires a bracket program at a track that hosts a national event. At least that's what they tell us in Houston.
