How do you get around the pit area. Some tracks like Gateway can be quite the hike to get to the concession stand or bathrooms.
I have used a 4 wheeler and an electric scooter. I looked at golf carts today and don't know which is better gas or electric.

For now I use mostly my feet and bicycle. I was using a 1969 Honda CL90 until the original tires let pebbles thru them and rubbed holes in the tubes.
Dennis, can you hook me up with some 2.25x18 and 2.50x28 tires and tubes for cheap? Everybody at the track misses me riding this thing around.

My co-pilot Moe loves our gas powered golf cart. A state cop clocked us with his radar gun after we crossed IL Rt. 203 headed for the truck stop at 42mph. I knew after the modifications that it was pretty fast, but I was thinking it might run around 35mph at best. I guess the high speed gear kit and the governor and carb mods made more of a difference than expected. ;D The cop was even more shocked than I was, he didn't write me up or anything. He was more interested in pettin' Moe. It pays to have a mascot.

Most dirt circle track pits are small and huddle around one end of the track, so most guys just use shoe-leather-express and foot it. Besides, I need the exersize and to walk off some adreanaline rush between heats. It also gives me a chance to mingle with other racer friends...

I have a 2800 lb. door car that may have to be pulled back once in a while. He recommended a gas car, thought it would be better suited for my uses. I ended up buying a Club Car gas and really like it. It pulls my car much easier than my 250 4 wheeler did, plus it'll seat 4 guys after I put an aluminum plate bent like a small bed on the back.
