Has anybody heard if someone is putting on an unofficial Gateway banquet like last year?
If not maybe we should consider putting something together.

Don I told Vischino last night that i thought the 1st place money was in the high 400.00 range but maybe senior is right. I'd have to double check on that, i made a copy of it somewhere. Anyways i got the check, crystal/diamond trophy, a very nice Jacket with the Gateway logos front and rear and Scotty Vaughn Pro Champ on the front, and yes they gave out the gold card for next year. The I-57 banquet was last night and was really nice. I believe they had 100 or so racers show up. Winners got jackets and a huge trophy. Food was fried chicken, fish, carrots, potatoes, corn, rolls and salad...all you could eat. Everyone that RSVP'd go really nice shirts, and the top 5 in each of the 3 classes got dash plaques. It was very well put together and very family orientated. Racers from St. Louis, Kentucky and Illinois all showed up to support the track, once again we had a great time. Scotty Vaughn

Street paid me $270.00, they only pay 4 places in street et and the winner gets 45% instead of 35% like pro.

How does Gateway pay their points. HRP pays us .50 a point that we earn going into the bracket finals. But we don't get it until the banquet in Jaunary.
