Looks like we have some of the best racers in the midwest joining the site. The amount of racing experience here is pretty impressive.

Atta Boy John... been there done that, wish I was young enought to do it all over again! Of course, that was way back when Roger DeCoster, Hurricane Hannah and Marty Smith ruled the roost. They finally dusted off and produced the world finals clips to make the movie "One Chance To Win" just a few months ago. www.onechancetowin.com/I haven't bought it yet, but I will soon since I grew up cheering them on at live events. That was back when "mono-shocks" first came out. We were making our own canti-lever shock setups on our swingarms when Yamaha came out with the first YZ monoshock bikes. Oh, I wanted a Maico AW 250 (Adolph Wiel Special) soooooo bad back then... too bad the one brother had to sabotage the family company in feud until the whole thing colapsed in shame. Google it up and read the full story about the rise and fall the one of the greatest dirt bike empires ever... "Maico" However... my greatest inspiration on two wheels ever was Malcom Smith. Wow could that man do amazing things on two wheels! I wish I could get my hands on a copy of the movies "On Any Sunday", (part one or two) featuring Malcom Smith. Long live the ISDT... (International Six Day Trials for those too young to know) Jim
