Yes, there is an ambulance at the finish line area. It parks where you get your time slip Good to know. However, in watching the first Tim McAmis video above, that just may not be enough. Especially, when you are many miles from a hospital or medical center.

almost crashed one night because of a poorly trained starting line crew. car started fish tailing, on the second twitch I lifted, not trying to drive thru that kind of nonsense.

about a month ago I did a huge wheelstand in the green dart had to lift as I was heading towards the guardrail in the right lane

I don't think Mikey's crash at Lyons a couple weeks ago would have been as bad if they had concrete walls. The I beams in the guard rails seem to have a can opener effect and dig into the car which I believe changes the outcome.
