Hey guys Tom Heaney here. My wife Kim and I run a small speed shop in Arnold, MO called Camdup Racing. Been racing the same car over 20 years now. Kids both race Jr's. They have both won track championships and the Jr Dragster Challenge.
Glad Gateway is open again!

Well I'm in. Better late than never.....Dennis I happen to be looking for a motor and the guys at ATK offered to help. And while looking them up I saw your car on their site. (and then happen to stumble up on this site) and thought maybe I should check with you and how there drag applications hold up. I hope to learn lots of info from you all. Some may know I jumped back and forth from racing cars, to bikes, and back to a door slammer. I run with the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters now. I will get some pic up as soon as I figure out how. Look forward to speaking with and learning from some locals.

We didn't race last year because Gateway was closed. No problems (knock on wood) lol. We had issues with the ignition. It wasn't designed to be used with a 2-step. When it was on the chip, sometimes the timing would go crazy and throw a ball of fire out of the scoop. I think we tack welded the weights and fixed the problem. I shopped around the area and they had the best deal going. They supplied everything, broke it in, dyno'ed and shipped it to me complete carb to pan with SFI flexplate and balancer. It had a 2 year warranty. I would definitely do business with them again.
